Casey + Heath | Spartanburg, SC | Birth Photography

I have been holding on to these magical photos for a while, but time has just not allowed me to share them. I have finally come to a few weeks with a lighter work load, therefore, I'm able to share sweet stories like this one. I wanted to share these for mommies-to-be who may be a little skeptical about the concept of birth photos. Some people seem to look at me like I'm crazy when I say one of the services I offer is birth photography. So here is one beautiful story I was able to capture. They are not intrusive, nor are they awkward. They honestly turn out to be some of the most beautiful moments I have ever seen captured on camera.

This day was one of the best days of my life, and it was certainly highly anticipated. Casey is my sister-in-law, but I just refer to her as sister because she truly is the sister I always wanted. Neither of us ever had a sister, so having her a part of my life is such a blessing. Casey had asked me to take her birth pictures when she found out her and Heath were pregnant, and I truly held this request as the highest honor. I know how intimate these moments would be, and I did not ever want to take for granted the fact that she was allowing me to be a part of it.

When the morning came, I was in another work position and it seemed as if it would be impossible for me to be able to get to the hospital. But the Lord is so good, and I was able to reach the hospital at just the right time. The Lord, my administration, and my co-workers showed me such favor that morning, and I will forever be grateful.

Sweet little Rhylan Hart was born at 8:47 that morning and it was the most tangible example of a miracle I have ever seen. The tears were flowing, and I just couldn't stop thinking Jesus, only Jesus. He is giver of all things good, and it is so evident in the birth experience.
